Functional Soft Tissue Management
Functional soft tissue management is where massage and other therapies are used to ease your muscles and all the attached ligaments and tendons, as well as working to improve the way they are aligned in your body. This treatment can help to relieve muscle tightness and fibrous adhesion.
Muscular pain, postural issues, and issues from overuse can be treated through functional soft tissue management. Dragonfly OT can also offer recommendations on how to prevent recurrence of your particular concern.
COPE
COPE (Care Of People with dementia in their Environments) is an occupational therapy program, working alongside people with dementia and their carers.
Through COPE, people with dementia receive a higher quality of care by a trusted carer or family member within a familiar and safe environment.
Falls Management
One of the highest prevalence of injury in older adults are falls.
A falls risk assessment may be conducted at the persons home to identify areas of risks for falls and to provide advice and intervention in minimising a fall from occurring.
